Circle of Peace is a Saskatchewan Music Educators Association initiative to help bring the healing power of music into the lives of at-risk inner city youth. The program was created in May/2000 to help youth develop respect, listening skills, focusing skills and a sense of community/teamwork.

Drum Circles, using Will Schmid's World Music Drumming Curriculum, provide a highly motivating learning experience that develops skills and abilities that will enhance each participant's ability to be more successful.

The Circle of Peace program uses music as a vehicle to teach the skills that we all need to be positively connected to ourselves and to the community around us.
